Never Again Stamps

2015

Riffing on the USPS “forever” stamps, these “never again” stamps honor sites devoted to the commemoration of Native Americans in the United States. The sites vary widely from one another to include places where populations had lived freely or were displaced, incarcerated, or massacred but all are imbricated in a discourse of commemoration. Perforated and gummed sheets are available for spectators as a free take away at all exhibition venues. They can be placed (in addition to USPS postage) on correspondence as a reminder of the other nations that share this country.
